Eko Maintenance Limited is looking for a skilled Accounts Officer who knows about tax and audits. The right person will make sure we follow tax rules, do internal audits, and keep our financial records accurate. This role is important for maintaining financial accuracy and helping the company grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file tax returns, making sure to follow all tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to check financial accuracy and ensure we follow company policies.
- Keep and reconcile financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and bank statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring payments are processed on time and accurately.
- Help prepare financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Support external audits and provide advice on tax and financial compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of accounting experience, focusing on tax and audits.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, auditing standards, and financial rules.
- proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional certification (like ACA, ACCA, or CPA) is a plus.
- Experience in the construction or maintenance industry is an advantage.
